Margaret Daly, age 91, of North Wildwood, NJ, and formerly of Newark, DE, passed peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 21, 1926 to the late Frances and Vinico Primavera.
She was raised in Penns Grove, NJ with her brothers Floyd and Louis, and her sister June. Margaret lived and worked for 30 years in her longtime home of Newark, Delaware where she was amongst the first few females to work at Chrysler Automotive during WWII, producing military equipment. She was married to her late husband James Robert (Bob) Daly for many years. At the age of 74, she moved to North Wildwood, NJ to live with her family. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Society and she will always be remembered for her warm spirit and love for everyone around her.
She is survived by her two children, Leslie Montgomery and Jerry Daly, her four grandchildren, Jordan and Natalie Montgomery, Michael and Danielle Daly, her beloved in-laws: Gary Montgomery and Bonnie Shinn, and her two nieces: Karen and Marla Furio, her nephew Floyd Primavera as well as many beloved family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
