Margaret Louise Lantz, age 75 of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born in Sunbury, PA on July 19, 1947 to the late John Raymond Bucher and Faye Louise (Williams) Bucher.
Margaret enjoyed many things in life and being a homemaker and raising her family was one that gave her great happiness. She loved traveling with her husband and family. Margaret also took joy in doing all types of crafts, a few of her favorites were making stained glass items, painting and drawing. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Daniel K. Lantz; her daughter, Dorinda Lantz Reed (Gary); and son, Darren Lantz (Shelley); grandchildren, John Messing, Daniel Messing, Kortnei Messing, Ronald Carpenter, Chance Lantz and Gunnar Lantz; Sisters, Sandra Bathory and Francis Sprague; brothers, John Bucher and Joey Bucher. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Bucher.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

My condolence to Marji's family and all who love her. Marji was the epitome to what we all should be. Always loving, caring, compassionate, epathetic, friendly, etc. I met her through the Red Hat Society years ago and my life has been richer for it. I have notes on handmade cards from her in my keepsake box that I treasure. I don't want to leave out how funny she was and how much fun to be around. She will be missed by many...especially me.
