Margaret E. Alexander, age 80, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on November 18, 2011 at Broad Meadow Health Care Center in Middletown, DE. She was born on February 28, 1931to the late William Martin and Mercedes (Meskill) Hanssen.
Margaret was employed with Baltimore Gas & Electric from the 1950’s through the 70’s, where she was a member of the blood bank.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. McMullen of Earleville, MD; brother, Edmund L. Martin, Sr.; nephews, Edmund L. Martin, Jr. and Jeffrey L. Martin; and nieces, Diana L. Sigwart and Judith Fell.
Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Kwiatkowski.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 9:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Bow St., Elkton, MD. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 7 – 9 pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Burial will follow at Moreland Memorial Park in Baltimore, MD.
