Luther Leroy Pearson, age 81, of Nottingham, PA, passed away on November 7, 2021. He was born in Millington, MD on June 15, 1940 to the late Luther and Mary (Bottomly) Pearson.
Leroy worked for Chrysler as an Assembly worker for forty-five years before retiring. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. Leroy loved watching Nascar racing and restoring his 1928 model A. He enjoyed the beach and visiting his vacation home in Lakeland, FL every chance he could. Leroy will be dearly missed.
Leroy is survived by his beloved wife, Betty B. Pearson, of Nottingham, PA; daughter, Sheila P. Kozar and her husband, Victor of Middletown, DE; two sons: J. Matthew Pearson and his wife, Tamera of Newark, DE and Paul M. Pearson and his wife, Paula of Millsboro, DE; seven grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; four step-sons: David Hodgson of Quarryville, PA, Danny Hodgson of Peach Bottom, PA, Kenneth Stevens of Nottingham, PA, and Jonathon Oliver and his wife, Lori of Elkton, MD; three step-daughters: Michelle Woollens and her husband, Rick of Port Deposit, MD, Athena Brewer of Rising Sun, MD, and Misti Cox of Lancaster, PA; eighteen step grandchildren; brother, Roger Pearson of Clayton, DE; and two sisters: Karen Price of Millington, MD and Mattie Atkinson of Clayton, DE.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Brookview Cemetery in Rising Sun, MD where friends and family are welcome to join. To send online condolences please visit, www.rtfoard.com.
