Lucille (Poore) McMillan, age 58, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 peacefully surround by her loving family. Lucille was born May 7, 1954 to the late Mitchell and Elizabeth S. (Reed) Poore.
Lucille had a special fondness for reading and watching her soaps. However, she especially enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Lucille is survived by her son, Mike McMillan; her two sisters, Ann Myers of Elkton, MD, and Patricia Slaughter of Dover, DE; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Corey McMillan. She is also survived by her nephew, who cared for her, Kevin Duhadaway, along with several other nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, Lucille was also predeceased in death by her loving husband Franklin McMillan, two brothers, and three sisters.
Services will be held at 11am on August 30, 2012 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where friends and family may call one hour prior; burial to follow at Rosebank Cemetery. To send condolences please visit www.rtfoard.com.
