Lucas Neumann (35), beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many, passed away on January 26th, 2024 in Rising Sun, Maryland. He was born on April 15th, 1988 in North Dakota to be welcomed by his loving parents Michael and Cheryl Neumann.
Lucas’s life was one filled with passion and love for those around him. His devotion to his family was unwavering; he leaves behind his wife Tricia and their cherished son Bret. Laura, Candice, Daniel, Davey, and Joanna were not only siblings but also his lifelong friends who shared countless memories together.
A man of many talents and interests, Lucas had an insatiable curiosity about history, which led him to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Mayville State University. He found happiness in the great outdoors, where he spent much of his time exploring parks and enjoying picnics by the river with loved ones. He was an avid sports fan who played football throughout high-school and college. He was an unwavering Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Music was another one of Lucas’s passions which brought joy into every aspect of his life. He loved sharing his talents, whether it be playing drums or guitar or singing along with his favorite tunes.
In addition to being a devoted family man and pursuing his hobbies wholeheartedly, Lucas touched the lives of so many people through kindness that knew no bounds. His warm smile could light up any room and could comfort all those around him. He never knew a stranger.
Lucas was preceded in death by his father, Donald Walter; grandparents Lloyd and Dorothy Eaton; grandparents Thomas and Helen Schultz; grandfather, Karl Neumann, and cousin, Micheal Imberi.
In lieu of flowers at this time when words may seem inadequate, we ask that you remember Lucas by cherishing your own loved ones as fiercely as he did throughout his lifetime.
The loss of such an extraordinary soul has left a permanent mark on our hearts that will never fade. While we mourn the passing of someone so dear, let us also celebrate the beautiful legacy that is left behind by remembering all the moments shared with Lucas Neumann.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen St, Rising Sun, MD, at 2:00 PM. The family will be available to receive friends starting at 1:00 PM.
