












Louis Paul Cambardella, 60, of Ephrata, PA, passed away surrounded by family at Select Specialty Hospital in York, PA following a courageous battle.
Born in Old Forge, PA on April 11, 1954, Louis was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor Cambardella. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1972 and received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Technology Management from the University of Maryland.
Having over 25 years of sobriety, Louis helped countless alcoholics in their recovery. He recently retired from NOAA and took pride in tending his 12 acre farm. Louis enjoyed golf, fishing, and was an excellent cook.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Debbie Cambardella, 2 sons, Tony Cambardella of Harpers Ferry, WV and Bobby Cambardella of Odenton, MD; two daughters, Jamie Campbell and her husband Matthew of Rising Sun, MD and Jessica Cambardella of Ephrata, PA; 2 grandchildren, Robert Cambardella and James Campbell; a brother, Bill Cambardella and his wife Michele and 2 sisters, Cindy Cambardella and her partner Janet Hartman and Mary Kamberger and her husband John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 150 S. Queen St., in Rising Sun, MD on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
