Lori J. Allan, age 60 of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023. Lori was born on September 30, 1963, in Wilmington, DE, she was the beloved daughter of the late Carl S. Weitz, and Shirley S. (Scott) Weitz.

Lori worked as a Sales Associate in the Real Estate business, where she and her husband, Donald would sell and build homes. Lori with her husband continued to grow their business by opening Beaches Seafood restaurant. She loved gameshows, her favorite was Price is Right and loved to watch cooking and baking shows. Lori was a faithful watcher of Live with Kelly, never missing a show. She enjoyed time with her horse, Sinatra and driving her car, she named “Ruby”. Lori loved spending time gardening in her greenhouse growing vegetables and flowers. She was always with her husband and loved her children unconditionally.

Lori is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, Donald M. Allan; sons: Donald Allan, David Allan, and Willie Ryan; daughters: Tiara Allan, and Rachel Shea; grandchildren: David, Bailey, Kendra, Piper, Landon, Josie, Hadley, Aiden, Chase, Hannah, and Brooke; and her dog, Lovie.

In addition to her parents, Lori is preceded in death by her brothers: Michael Ryan, and Chris Weitz.

A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Dr., Lewes, DE, 19958, where friends and family may begin visiting at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “ASPCA” and sent in care of R.T. Foard and Jones, Inc., 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE, 19711.
