Dear Dad, Your birthday was December 22nd, it was so sad to think no more birthdays were to pass for you. Then three days later was Christmas. I thought about you all day and have peace in knowing that you are in heaven now. No more sorrow, no more pain. January 8th will be the first anniversary of your passing. It seems that it happened just yesterday. I try to be at peace knowing that you are not suffering anymore. You are the best Dad ever. I strongly feel you watching over me and I feel comforted by your presence. I love you so very much, Dad.....now and always.
CIndy Clutter Vanmulligen left a message on November 11, 2013:
Dear Dad, Today is Veteran's Day. No man ever served his country with more honor than you, Dad. Thank you from your grateful country. This morning when the sun came up I saluted you in my heart and said a prayer of thanksgiving for the abundant blessing of having you as my dad. I could see you in my mind's eye in your uniform, always looking so sharp and crisp, your shoes shined to a high gloss - always impeccable, ship shape and Bristol fashion. I'm so proud and honored to be your child. With so much love today and every day, Cindy

Well Dad, I made it through my first Father's Day without you. I know you heard my prayer of thanksgiving, that the good Lord blessed me so abundantly by giving you to me as my dad. You taught me so much Dad and always led by example. You have touched the life of so many people and, being such a modest and humble man, never realized how many have been enriched by knowing you. Your kindness and humility are without parallel. As you look down upon me, I hope you find that I follow your lessons and always try my best to be someone you are proud to call your daughter. Though I cry as I write these words, I know you are safe in heaven - - no more pain, no more sorrow. Each morning I awaken thinking of you. I know one day I shall see you again in the hereafter. You will always be my knight in shining armor and I love you with all my heart.

Rest in Peace Chief, I will always hold you up with great respect for your service and dedication to our country. I will also recognize you as Cindy’s father whom she always loved, respected and looked up to. You were the wind beneath her wings and the barometer by which she made many of life’s decisions. I will miss your kind smile and gentle spirit, Peace & Love Always. Rick Webb
