Lois Jane Sellar passed on to see her Lord and Savior during her 72nd year on March 30, 2013.

Lois was born in Harrisburg, Pa on Dec 22nd, 1940, the daughter of the late John Frederick and Mary Frances (Walter) Neubold, and is predeceased by 2 brothers, James and Robert. She is survived by brother John, and children, Jenny Lynn, Lee William, Susan Alice, Sharon Frances, Richard Scott and Michael Thomas, as well as 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

As the oldest child, Lois grew up fast helping to take care of her brothers while her father was away in Africa, Italy and France during WWII. She was in the first class to complete all 3 years in brand new Central Dauphin High School where she participated in a commercial curriculum and was a Drum Majorette. Lois graduated in 1958 and married Alvin Lee Potteiger the following year. Together they built their own house, raised 4 children and ran their own carpet installation business in the Newberrytown area. After the carpet business, Lois began working for Berg Electronics, which later became Dupont, as a scheduler, gradually becoming one of their first female supervisors, specializing in production planning and data base management. Alvin died in 1985 and she later married Thomas Sellar in 1989. They both retired from Dupont and opened a bagel shop in Newark De. During retirement Lois perfected her skills as a quilter, loved travelling and enjoyed doting on all her grandchildren. She joined Calvary Baptist Church and has been a very active member for the last 10 years.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday April 20th at Calvary Baptist Church. Flowers or donations may be sent in care of the Church.
