Lisa Darlene Roark, beloved mother and grandmother, age 56, from Nottingham, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was born on June 15, 1967, in West Grove, PA, Lisa was the daughter of the late Farley Nelson Harper, and Mary Lee (Johnson) Harper.
Lisa was a talented baker in the Hospitality business at Kendal Crosslands where her passion for baking touched the lives of many. Lisa loved tending to her rose bushes and gardening, nurturing her plants with love and care. She enjoyed decorating for holidays, which brought warmth and joy to those around her. Lisa cherished her trips to the beach, especially to Ocean City, MD. Above all, Lisa’s heart belonged to her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment she would spend with them, whether it was cooking, or shopping. Lisa will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Lisa is survived by her children: Matthew N. Roark (spouse Jennifer Roark), Samantha L. Roark (fiancé Andy Taylor), and Timothy L. Roark JR (partner Samantha Garland) grandchildren: Daisy M. Cole, Bobbie L. Roark, and Zoey L. Taylor; sisters: Louise McIntyre and Debbie Lipford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband, Timothy L. Roark, Sr.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on 6/22/2024, at 10 am at Calvary Baptist Church of Avondale, 218 Ellicott Road, Avondale, PA, 19311, where family and friends may begin visiting at 10 am. Memorial service to begin 11 am. Burial will be held privately.
