Linda Sue Converse, age 55, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1966 in Lima, OH to the late Jerry Dean Dingledine and Shelba Jean (Castle) Dingledine.

Linda worked at Walmart in Retail Management. Previous to that, she worked at the Big Lots in Rising Sun, MD. Linda loved going on a good shopping trip. She took great joy in going to the Carolina beaches and spending time with her family at their family events. Linda loved her three cats Oscar, Haley, and Iris very much.

Linda is survived by her significant other of 16 years with whom she lived with, Randy Matthews of Rising Sun, MD; three sons: Zane Converse of Elkton, MD, Spencer Converse of Peach Bottom, PA, and Preston Converse of Peach Bottom, PA; two sisters: Debbie Crawford of Ohio and Teresa Davis and her husband, Steve of Ohio; brother, Jeffrey Dingledine of Washington; and three sisters-in-law’s: Susan Ragan and her husband, Donnie of North Carolina, Jean Sinor of North Carolina, and Cindy Stewart of South Carolina.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where friends and family may begin visiting at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
