


Linda Muriel Swim, age 64, of Rising Sun, MD went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2013 after a long illness.
Linda was born on May 6, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio. Linda was a homemaker. A true artist at heart, she loved playing the piano and painting. She was a wonderful artist. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby J. Chambers of Rising Sun; three daughters, Melisa S. Nichols and husband Ralph E. Nichols III of Rising Sun, MD, Renae Dalton and companion Butch Shrewsbury of Rising Sun, MD and Monica N. Dalton and companion Gary Morgan of Conowingo, MD; brothers, David R. Swim of Rising Sun, John Chambers of North East and Clark Chambers of Rising Sun; sisters, Patricia Jepsen of Rising Sun and Debbie Sharpley of Newark, DE and all their families; six grandchildren, Anthony Larson and wife Brittany, Michele Nichols and companion Brandon, Richard Hawkins III, Terri Nichols, Gary Morgan Jr. and Kenneth Morgan; and three great grandchildren, Anthony and Ashton Larson, and Parker Morgan; and one more on the way. Linda will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, David R. Swim, her husband Terry Dalton, grandmother, Muriel Taylor and beloved granddaughter, Kaysea S. Morgan.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 18, 2013 at West Nottingham Cemetery, 1195 Firetower Road, Colora, MD 21917 where there will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 am graveside.
