


Linda Jean Gordon, 62, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at her home July 18, 2014 with her husband by her side.
Born in Chicopee, MA on May 20, 1952, Linda was the daughter of the late Theodore and Shirley Ironside Maziarz. She was a homemaker and enjoyed computer gaming. She was active for many years with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America as a lifelong sufferer and volunteer. The family is profoundly grateful for the care Linda received from all those at Delaware Hospice.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, William Gordon; two sons, Lee J. Gordon (Beth) and Brian A. Gordon; three grandchildren, Aly, Faith and Jason; and a brother Bill Maziarz (Annie).
According to her wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice or Delaware Hospice Center c/o R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main St., Newark, DE 19711.
