Linda Anne Majaya, age 69, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. Linda was born on March 28, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, to Georgine (Chlumsky) Smith and the late Coleman Smith.
Linda’s lifetime passion was practicing and teaching yoga. She liked nature, music, dancing, art, drawing, romantic comedies, and historical dramas and enjoyed studying about different religions, health, and natural healing. Linda dearly loved her granddaughter, whom she helped care for since birth, as well as her grand-cats.
Linda is survived by her son, Angel Rey Partie; daughter, Gabrielle Protz and her husband J; granddaughter, Fiona Leigh Protz; sister, Jeanne Smith; brother, Kent Smith; sister, Susan Sievers; and mother, Georgine Smith. In addition to her father, Coleman Smith, Linda is preceded in death by her brothers Gary and David Smith.
Services for Linda will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “World Wildlife Fund” or “St. Jude Children’s Hospital” and send in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
