Laura Allyson Hennagir, age 36 of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born on June 8, 1986 in Cape May, NJ to the late Daniel Vincent Boyd and Lolly (Robertson) Boyd.
Laura’s kids were her world. She adored them and strived to be the best mother. She loved going to the beach. Wildwood, New Jersey Beach was her happy place. Laura was a food fanatic and enjoyed eating anything with a pasta sauce. She loved her cats and rescued most of them. Laura will be remembered as an amazing and funny person, who was outspoken and could be outrageous at times, but most of all she will be remembered for being a wonderful and loving mother to her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Laura is survived by her three children: Nathaniel Frazier, Allyssa Wassmer, and Aubrey Townsend; her mother, Lolly Boyd; her fiancé: Shayne Townsend and his children, Harmony Townsend and Hayden Townsend; sister, Vikki Eiswert (Ryan); sister-in-law, Sabrina Hennagir; best friends, Leighann Loller and Mike Micklesavage; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Laura’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may attend the viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Chesapeake Feline Association” and sent in care of the funeral home.
