Larry was a fine and principled man. We became friends in 1969 or 1970 when we started playing music together. My then wife and Larrys wife Debbie became great friends. The four of us spent a lot of time together. WE lived on Capitol Hill in Washington, Dc at the same time. I visitd them when they moved to Cookeville, Tennessee then later when they lived west of New Orleans. I loved him as a friend and I wish that I had know about his death sooner, I would have loved to have heen at his funeral. I found out about his passing from a Facebook post by his daughter. RIP old friend!

My condolences to Wenona and Jody, Bill and Carol and families. Growing up, Larry was a cousin that was like a big brother. I will always remember and appreciate his watching out for me, especially in high school. I’m so sorry I am unable to attend his service. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will miss my many of my conversations with Larry, he stayed in the Keys with us for a time and played music on Duval street attracting quite a following. I wish I could be there for the service. Larry worked on the granite pillars at the entrance of Brookview when they were in much need of repair. He was to many of us the Fonzie of Rising Sun. I had to sneak into the firehouse to here him play in the battle of the bands on several occasions, a master of the key board......... I wish the family.... my family... peace of mind... you are in my thoughts and prayers...
