Lamar Vernon Biffle, age 45, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Born on July 27, 1980, in Rockford, IL, and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. Lamar was the loving son of Sherman Travis Biffle, and Georgia Ann (Marshall) Biffle.
Lamar embarked on a career as a Customer Service Representative at Bank of America in Newark, DE, where he touched the lives of countless people. Lamar was a man with many interests. He had an undeniable love for animals, particularly a soft spot for cats. An avid Raiders fan, Lamar could be found cheering for his team. He also enjoyed Fantasy Football, where he bonded with friends over wins and losses.
In Lamar’s leisure time, he enjoyed cooking, good food, craft beer, and watching tv shows. Socializing was another of Lamar’s great pleasures, he loved talking to people and having a good drink. His favorite places included Richmond and Virginia Beach, where he created memories to last a lifetime.
Lamar brought joy and laughter to the lives of everyone he encountered. A devoted friend, a beloved big brother, who will be deeply missed.
Lamar is survived by his parents Sherman and Georgia Biffle; sister, Shermelle Biffle; paternal grandmother, Susie Biffle; aunt, Christine King (husband, James); uncles: Reggie Biffle and Johnny Biffle; aunt, Mattice Holden; and several cousins.
Lamar is preceded in death by his older brother, Sherman Biffle, II; maternal grandparent, Jessie Hurskins; paternal grandfather, Sherman Biffle; paternal grandmother, Lavern Gayden; aunts: Linda Jones, Sherdine Biffle, and Julie Gayden; and uncle, Kenny Biffle.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 12PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD, 21921, where friends and family may begin visiting at 11AM. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the “American Heart Association” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A.
