LaJeune Mae Jones, 52, of Elkton, MD, formerly of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away unexpectedly at her home May 23, 2013.

Born in Havre de Grace on August 26, 1960, LaJeune was the daughter of the late Alexander T. and Marie Boyer Jones. She was raised by her maternal grandmother Annie Boddy and graduated from Havre de Grace High School in 1978. LaJeune loved anything involving numbers and was employed at the Elkton Walmart as an accounting clerk. She loved spending time with her family, especially her niece, Jayde.

She is survived by her sister Bonnie Kaai of Havre de Grace; three brothers, Milton James of Oxford, PA, Alan Jones of Bloomsburg, PA and Kennard Jones of Charlotte, NC; a niece Jayde Norman and a great nephew Jamar Norman, both of Edgewood, MD.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

My family and I are deeply saddened by the loss of lejune she was a huge part of our lives and a wonderful person they aren't many times in life that you can say she was a extended part of our family not just a co-worker she will be deeply missed amd always loved and remembered we are so sorry for your loss sincerly Patti Smythe and Mary Ewing <3
