Kennith Dean Quesenberry, age 79, passed away peacefully at home Oct. 09, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
Kenny, “Dean” was born November 2, 1932 in Indian Valley, VA to the late Hosie Lee and Pearlie Mae Quesenberry. Kenny worked as a machinist for many years and had a real knack for fixing almost anything broken. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife while they worked together in their garden. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his loving family.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Lydia J. Quesenberry; daughter, Dianne Podolak and her husband, Steve of Hockessin, DE; sons, Kennith and his wife, Laurie of Hockessin, DE, Dennis of Newport, DE, Andrew E. and his wife, Debora of Marshallton, DE; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, Kenny was also predeceased by his two sons, Keith and Daniel; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm on Oct. 14, 2012 at 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family and friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice or the Pearce Q. Foundation, Inc. c/o the funeral home.
Kenny’s ashes will be buried next to his parents in Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery in Indian Valley, VA. The burial will be held Saturday, 10/20 at 12:00 (noon).
