Uncle Sonny will be sadly missed by the Curry family. He was quite the conversationalist on every topic imaginable. He was full of wit and great foresight, and was always willing to share his knowledge. Uncle Sonny had a quality that many do not possess; he always extremely engaged in what others were saying and was sincerely interested. We felt fortunate Uncle Sonny joined us on our wedding day; he also videotaped our wedding reception. Aunt Niece, Denise, Ryan, and Kenny our love and prayers are with you all. Bill & Susan Curry

It is with sadness, that we remember Ken sitting outside his home enjoying the summer breeze with the company of several neighbors. He never sat alone...someone would stop by to share a few words. May Ken now be in a place where he is again surrounded by love and happiness. WE will miss you.

Ken and I were Philly Cops & partners thru the 70's & 80's. We served on manny assignments together including vice investigations. However, he had this clever scheme of never being around when the boss's were enmass. I quickly found he was corect when he said, "outa sight, outa mind". However, on one occassion we were assigned to the dedication of the Police & Fire Clinic. Ken was in a secluded spot minding his own business when a black limo came speeding up and stopped leaving Ken facing the back door. Knowing that a dignitary must be inside, he opened the door. Wouldn't you know it, Mayor Rizzo jumped out & threw out his hand. Ken took his hand & then saluted saying, "great to see ya boss". Because of his special abilities as a mechanic he helped a great deal of people during his off duty hours. That kind of kindness earned him the respect of many. Ken was admired by his fellow officers & many friends, of which I am honored to be one. God Bless you buddy!
