Keith Ray Campbell, “Pink Pad”, age 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018 after his courageous battle with cancer. Born April 17, 1961, Keith was the son of Peggy Ann (Lawson) Campbell and the late Richard Howard Campbell, Sr.
In his younger years, Keith was involved in many sports. He was a Golden Glove boxer, football player and baseball player. He worked as an account manager for many years for Mondo Vino in Baltimore and was a member of the Sons of Veterans. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, goose hunting, working with horses and gardening. He loved anything with four legs and especially cherished his cat, Bubbles. He also enjoyed music, specifically from the ’70s and ’80s. Keith was known for his “keen fashion sense” which often left his children with smerkes.
Including his mother, Peggy Ann Campbell, Keith is survived by his two children, Benjamin Campbell and Kaylin Campbell; brothers, Richard H. Campbell, Jr. and his wife, Joy Burress Campbell and Eddie Inman. He is also survived by his good friends, Roger and Rhonda Lamb and his loving feline, Bubbles.
A family directed memorial service will be held in Keith’s honor at 11am on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Janes United Methodist Church, 213 N. Walnut Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Kaylin Campbell” to help with medical and funeral expenses and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
