Kathleen (Kathy) Lusardi, age 78, residing in Newark, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 19, 2023. Kathy was born December 31, 1944 in Norfolk, VA but has lived in Delaware most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her son, William R Brown III, her parents, Francis and Barbara Armstrong; her sister, Marilyn Faragher; brother-in-law, Gerald Faragher; nephew, Mark Faragher and neice, Jennifer Chudzik.

She is survived by her former husband, Victor Lusardi; her four children, Alicia Lusardi-Bottomley, Scott Lusardi, Dawn Poteat and Kirt Lusardi, 14 grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister, Susan Chudzik and brother, Michael Armstrong and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

Kathy retired form Christiana Care where she worked as a service assistant until 2018 and was dedicated employee and loved what she did. Her greatest joys in life were being a loving mother and sister. She loved flowers, feeding the birds and squirrels and her beloved dog Bella. She loved music and dancing, watching game shows with her family and her favorite “Lifetime”.

She will be sorely missed and remain in our hearts forever.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM at Newark Cemetery, 20 New Street, Newark, DE 19711 on Wednesday August 2, 2023.  Please consider making donations in Kathy’s name to the “American Cancer Society” or “The American Lung Association”
