Kamela “Kammie” Jayne Kirkpatrick, age 44, of Elkton, MD went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 6, 1977, in Wilmington, DE to Patricia Sherman and Wilbern Michael Kirkpatrick.
Kammie graduated from Delcastle Technical High School and attended college at Wilmington University where she made the Dean’s List. She worked as an Administrative Assistant and before that had a career as a Real Estate Paralegal. Her great joy was being a Life/Empowerment coach, always looking to encourage others to be the best possible version of themselves and live their best possible life. Above all, Kammie lived her life choosing joy, kindness and encouraging others to always do the same.

Becoming a foster parent and being able to give her love and energy to care for and cherish these precious children who had been through so much was a dream come true for her. Kammie also LOVED adventure, she loved an impromptu road-trip, always looking to add a pin to her map, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle and even skydiving.
