Judy Darlene Thayer, 55, of Rising Sun, MD, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family on December 5, 2013.
She was born on January 15, 1958 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Frank Thayer, parents Earl Ragan, Jr. and Doris Ragan and brother Rodney Ragan. Judy is survived by her son, Frank Thayer, Jr.; brothers, Joe Ragan (JoAnn), Mike Ragan, Wesley Ragan (Dawn) and sisters Patty Farrell (Tom), Linda Fretwell (Ed), Loretta Sumner (Bill), Donna Jones, and Brenda Matthews and several nieces and nephews.
Judy loved to play BINGO and loved anything the color pink. She loved to go to yard sales and had a beautiful collection of angels, which she cherished. She had a contagious joyful spirit all the way to the end. The family wishes to thank Hospice for their generous care.
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911 on Thursday December 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contribution checks may be made payable to the American Liver Foundation and mailed to the funeral home.
