Joyce Ann Richter, age 76, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. She was born on January 4, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, to the late Phillip Clark and Harriet (Zentgraf) Clark.

Joyce had a love for gardening, specifically roses, angel trumpets, and many other types of flowers. She was a very giving person. She had a rabbit named Sunshine and a cat named Bouncy. She would have had many more animals if she could. Joyce was raised as a Catholic. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by:

Sons: Gregory Cook and Shawn Cook and his wife, Stephanie

Daughter, Melissa Edgell and her husband, Tommy

Grandchildren: Ambyr Timothy Bowen, Tori Cook, and Madison and Reagan Meyers

Great-grandchildren: Kyle Ray Exline and Drew Alexander Exline

Sister-in-law, Karen Fetters

Brother-in-law, Dave Fetters, Sr.

Nephews: David Fetters Jr. and Xavier Fetters

Nieces: Kimberly, Jennifer, Angela Fetters, Ariana and Kailey Fetters

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Michael T. Richter.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Mom i still think about you everyday. I still can't believe it's been ten month's since i seen you an held your hand. I love you mom

Everyday I expect you to walk upstairs. This house is not the same. We all loved and miss you! I'm glad we were able to get a plot in the Hopewell Cemetary where you can be with the horses. We know how you loved them. The gardens are flourishing and I think its from you. Rest in peace dear Joyce. I'm sure your 35 again!

Joyce was a lovely lady and neighbor. I saw her humor last summer at her daughter's wedding. She is from a loving family and home.

My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this difficult time.

Joyce was my mother-in-law. I loved her very much and got to be there holding her hand as she left this world. She loved me as her own daughter and loved my girls so much. She had 2 other grandchildren Madison and Reagan. There was so much more to Joyce besides loving animals. Joyce was a giver, she would give anything she could to make you happy. She would love and accept you as soon as you walked through her door. From day one she told me she loved me when I married her "Christmas Baby". She had an amazing heart and a big personality... she loved to dance and loved her reality t.v. shows. Joyce I love you and you will always be in my heart. The pictures you gave us are all hanging. We have dedicated a table to your memory, filled with your pictures and a few of your knick knacks. We light a candle for you each day and share memories. We love you, thank you for letting me be apart of your life and lovine me and our girls so very much.

Mommy i miss you. it's so hard not seeing your face watch you smile an to watch you dance around. I stayed by your side holding your hand as you took your last breathe. God please watch over her i know she is an Angel now. I love you mommy i can still hear your voice singing to me
