
























































Josephine Wyatt, age 72, of Colora, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. She was born on November 23, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Homer and Mattie Dowell Brown.
She was a homemaker who loved and cared for her husband, children and grandchildren. With an infectious smile and brilliant blue eyes, she made all feel welcome at her house, and no one was a stranger. Josephine enjoyed having parties and gatherings at her home for family and friends. She was devoted to her family and to God. She also enjoyed road trips, especially to the mountains. The Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge were her favorites.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Wyatt; sons, Ed Wyatt and his wife, Lisa, and Keith Wyatt and his wife, Shelly, all of Rising Sun, MD; daughters, Tammy Patrick and her husband, Charles, of Colora, MD, and Tara Wyatt and her companion, Tony West, of Bear, DE; five grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Cummings, of New Freedom, PA, Betty Powers, of Honey Brook, PA, and Ruth Olivas, of Havre de Grace, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at New Bridge Baptist Church, 37 Wyatt Lane, Colora, MD 21917. Friends and family may visit from 6-8PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
