I have many fond memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Ruello. They both were important in forming the values I hold today, as I worked for them in my formative teenage years. Mrs. Ruello treated me like I was part of the family. She even lent me the money I needed for my class ring. She was the steady hand that was the balance to some of the crazy things Joe did. ( like pumping gas for a customer with a lit cigarette in his mouth) She invited me to dinner at the house for a real Italian meal. It made me feel like more than just an employee. I am sorry to hear of her passing, and regret that I didn't take the time to tell her how much I appreciate everything she and Joe did for me. They both were strong examples of the values that are vitally important to any society that hopes to survive. May God bless the family with peace during this time of mourning.

I have so many fond memories of Josephine and working at Ruello's restaurant. Josephine was a very smart and faithful woman. Even though she was always busy working she still made time to laugh at the crazy group that worked with her in the kitchen. She had a wonderful laugh that would make us all laugh. Our thoughs and prayers are with the Ruello family. Love, The Flynn's

I first met Josephine when Nick and I were in 4th grade at Rising Sun Elementry School. She came to our class to tell us about Italy. I can still picture how beautiful she looked that day. When I met her again as an adult, I learned that she was also beautiful on the inside-loving, kind, caring. I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. Much love to the Ruello family!
