Joseph Martin Roberts, “Joe”, age 53 of Elkton, MD passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was born on October 26, 1965 in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles E. Wagner Sr. and Mary Shirley (Stickler) Wagner.
Joe graduated from Patterson High School. He was a star player on his high school tennis team and he was a great baseball player. He loved baseball and football and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Mary Roberts; son, Joshua Roberts; daughter, Ashley Harrison and her husband, Kevin; step-grandchildren: Marley and Jenna Harrison; brothers: Charles E. Wagner Jr. and his wife, Laura, Mark Keller and his wife, Angel, Lawrence Wagner and his wife, Ella, David Wagner and his wife, Debbie, William Wagner and his wife, Shannon, John Wilson and his wife, Robin; and aunt, Glorijean Perrone and her husband, Bill.
In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Stickler and nephew, Shaw Bone.
A visitation will be held for Joe from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. in Elkton, MD where family and friends may begin visiting at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Elkton Cemetery.
