To my Uncle Joey, I truthfully haven't even faced how something like this could happen yet. How you could leave without saying goodbye. You were my pal growing up, we would do it all together.. and recently everyone keeps telling me that and its breaking my heart more. You would take me fishing, or crabbing on the train tracks, or to the movies and we would stick candy in our shirts before.. Life was never simple, never a dull moment.. but you kept smiling. I still have all your paintings and drawings you would send me, and I'm going to treasure them forever. All thats keeping me smiling right now, is that you're up there with the person you belong with.. the person we all belong with.. Grandma. Your mom. If anyone knows how much you needed her, its me. So enjoy being with her, let her show you the ropes up there, and rest easy.. don't forget to give grandma a hug and a big kiss from me.. I love you, and I'm praying for you.. till we meet again.. Love, Nana, the baby, the witch, the brat.. I'll miss you..
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We appear here, alone and against our will, for a short while. The time we have is a gift we don't always understand. In our hearts and minds we wonder how long we really have yet we allow moments to escape us. When I see your smile in these photos it's no different than the first time I looked down at your chubby little face. Like with all of you that came after me I can't help but be amazed at how we all started this way. You live in all of us now and though our connection you shall always be with us. But it's not the same, we want to hear your voice, shake your hand, wrap our arms around, kiss you good night. Like your mother I know I shall see you in my dreams.
