Joseph Francis Charma, age 86, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012. He was born on January 1, 1926 in Endicott, NY to the late Andrew and Anna (Kuzma) Charma.

Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph G. Charma and his wife, Dawn Alexis Calzada of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Antonio and Linnea; sisters, Mary S. Giacoyelli of Endicott, NY and Ann G. Townsend of Endicott, NY; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine R. Charma; and brothers, Andrew, John, Michael, Steven and Paul Charma.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to Millcroft Health Center, Christiana Hospital, and Delaware Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, c/o R.T. Foard and Jones, Inc., 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
