Joseph E. Eastridge, Jr., age 54, of Newark, DE passed away on January 30, 2016. Joseph was born in Jennersville, PA on October 11, 1961. Joe was the son of Joseph E. Eastridge, Sr. of Newark, DE and Sylvia (Culler) Martin of Florida.
He graduated from Newark High School and Vocational High School. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service as an Assembler and Utility Operator. He was an avid weight lifter and body builder and he enjoyed kickboxing.
He was survived by his wife, Rachel L. Eastridge of Newark, DE, son, Justin Langshaw of Elkton, MD, sister, Kimberly Norem of Elkton, MD, Sharon Caldwell of TN and Debbie Badgett of Elkton, MD, brother, Rickey Badgett of Baltimore, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church; 218 Ellicott Avenue, Avondale, PA. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
