Johnnie Ray Clark, 52, of Elkton, MD, passed away unexpectedly at Union Hospital on June 12, 2013.
Born in Elkton on April 12, 1961, Johnnie was the son of Ruth Phillips Clark and the late Vaughn Clark. He was the owner and operator of Johnnie Clark Sealcoating. Johnnie was a sports fan, especially the Eagles and Phillies, U of D football and NASCAR. He loved being in the outdoors, camping and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Debra Corcoran; a son, Dustin Clark and a daughter, Heather Clark, all of Elkton; a brother Jerry Phillips; three sisters Brenda Bowlin, Linda Mitchell and Ann Phillips; and his stepfather who was like a dad to him, Bob Beam. He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Clark.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contribution checks may be made payable to Dustin Clark and mailed to R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.

I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of quality time with Johnnie and his family. Johnnie and I always had a great time together, whether it was just relaxing or playing a hand of Texas Hold em together. "down and dirty "was the phrase I remember most. Always with a smile and good time we had together. I will cherish those times, and am glad we were able to have them. I will miss you my brother, and I also promise to keep an eye on your family.
