Sincerest condolencences to the family. I am the daughter of Ray & Kathryn Armstrong Of Delaware City. Jack met my parents when he was assigned to patrol Delaware City, often frequenting my mother's restaurant where I worked as a teenager. Officer Brockell became a wonderful friend to the family. I last saw Mr. Brockell at my mother's funeral in March of 2010, where he honored us by giving the benediction at the following luncheon. He was a highly regarded man, who I have no doubt will be deeply missed.

I attended hight school with Laura and was aquainted with Mr.Brockell through my first job at Newark Cleaners where Mr.Brokell got his Uniforms cleaned while in the police force. My sincerest condolences to the family. I remember Mr. Brockell was always wearing a smile. He was an avid fan of Newark Yellowjacket sports who along with Mrs. Brockell followed his girls' matches and games with enthusiasm. I remember coaching in a low huddle once, looking up and see his imposing figure in uniform at a game where he worked security. We surely felt safe that day! He will be dearly missed by all.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To The Family, Please accept my condolence. I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the scriptures during this difficult time. Let me tell you my favorite text. Job said: “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again ??. You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.? (Job 14:14, 15). Again, you have my sympathy.
