John Lee Blevins, Sr., age 71, of Kirkwood, PA passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was born on February 16, 1951 in West Grove, PA to the late Roger Dale Blevins, Sr., and Virginia Edna (Cannoy) Blevins.

John owned Blevins Mushrooms for over 10 years. He went on to work in the plumbing business for 37 years, first for others, then for himself. John was a founding member of the Southern Sidekicks, of Cecil County, MD. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers. John enjoyed going horseback riding with his granddaughters. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

John was survived by his companion, Vicki Stone; two children: John Blevins, Jr. (Kim), and Melissa Momcilovich (Seth); two grandchildren: Brooke and Ariel; brother, Jim Blevins (Cindy). In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother, Dale Blevins, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday April 16 2022 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911 where friends and family may begin visiting at 9:30am. Burial will be held privately. To send online condolences please visit, www.rtfoard.com.
