John Kobler Burkley II, age 54 of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born on February 14, 1963, in Baltimore, MD to the late William F. and Judy Keller Burkley.
He graduated Elkton High School in 1981. He attended Wesley College in Dover, DE and Lynchburg College in Virginia. He went on to work for John K. Burkley Insurance Company.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Brennan Burkley; three daughters, Charlotte, Janie, and Julia; a sister, Wendy Burkley Barry, of Bel Air, MD; and nieces, Taylor and Kendall Barry, also of Bel Air, MD.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 150 North Bridge Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution checks can be made to “Cecil County SPCA” or “Trinity Episcopal Church” and sent c/o R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
