John J. Caffrey, Jr., age 89, of Port Deposit, MD, formerly of West Caln Twsp, PA passed away December 4, 2023 with his son by his side. He was born on July 27, 1934 to the late John J. Caffrey, Sr. and Mary B. Cook Caffrey. John was the husband of the late Phyllis MacDonald Caffrey with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

John retired from Pepperidge Farm after 30 years of service. He then drove a school bus for George Krapf and Unionville School District.

John is survived by his son, Lawrence and Laura Caffrey of Port Deposit, MD; Granddaughter, Heather Caffrey of West Caln Twsp, PA; Grandsons, Matthew and Nancy Caffrey of Navarre, FL, Justin Caffrey of Washington, D.C., Kyle and Rebecca Caffrey of Landsdale, PA; Great Grandson, SrA Sean Caffrey of Mildenhall Air Base, United Kingdom; Great Granddaughter, Ashlyn Caffrey of Navarre, FL.

In addition to his late wife, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Caffrey and son, Gary Caffrey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11AM at Our Lady of Consolation, 603 West Second Avenue, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
