Hey PoP PoP John,

What a day today is. Your grandson Fernando is expecting another little daughter. Her birth will be in remembrance of the day you went to heaven. She will be so smart and beautiful because she has your blood in her. Just wanted to let you know the good news. We have no name yet. Her parents have not made that known to us yet.

Love you Terrie

John, you are such a kind and gentle man. 39 years of employment at one employer is an example of semper fidelis i.e. always faithful. May your family have strength in the weeks, months and years ahead. May God rest your soul. Thank you for being a friend to me. Bob

On behalf of the graduating class of 1952, Havre de Grace High School - We will remember John with love and warmth, as was his life. We experienced his gracious demeanor and caring attitude during our years together, and are better people today because we knew him. Our deepest condolences to the family at this time of their loss. It is our loss, as well. May God sustain you with His peace and comfort.

Pop Pop John, You will be dearly missed by many people. I have very fond memories of all of us when we were a lot younger. I remember you always telling us that if you hit the lottery you would share. I remember to always expect school supplies from you at the beginning of each school year as you felt it was important to have No2 Pencils (many boxes) and lots of paper! I remember you visiting me in the hospital after I had Taylor- and holding her tightly saying how precious she is. As I grew up and had a family of my own, we always would catch up at dinners or family picnics and talking about how you still didn't win the big one! It seems so long ago that you ended up with two extra girls in your family that soon became your grand daughters. You lived a fruitful life, truly made the best of every situation. You will be missed but please know that as you loved as as your own, we loved you just as much. With Love, Shyla
