We just saw this obit and want to still extend or deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. We were both his Oxford Area High School classmates. We are so sorry to learn this news but had heard he wasn't in good health recently. May the many fond memories from the past that you have help to lessen the sorrow you are feeling at this time. He was one of the good guys from our class and glad that we knew him. Sincerely, Wayne & Mary Anne Reisler

I have wonderful memories of working with John. He was passionate about teaching /mentoring all those who knew him. He brought out the best in everyone - and was always prepared to challenge your understanding of Army /DoD regulations. He was meticulous about his suits and ties - and despised pink shirts. He would always be at the office super early before the boss would get there and stayed way too late after the boss left. Together he would review and redesign power point slides until they were just right. I shared many cups of lady grey tea with him and shared his love for Honey Crisp apples which were always meticulously cut into bite sized cubes perfect for sharing. He brought an unwavering energy and enthusiasm to every engagement big or small. May the many wonderful memories provide bring peace and comfort.
