Memories....The members of AHS class of 1975 have so many fond memories that "Johnny " can be mentioned. He was a good friend and we are blessed that he was part of our lives! Though, I write this on my own, I know that I echo what so many feel.... many may be unaware that he was called to eternal life. Thank you , Johnny Wilson for being a part of my life ! May your wife and children find comfort in knowing how folks loved you. Mom Wilson, Tammy,Kenny and Buddy , I send a special prayer of comfort. Fondly,
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Michael 'Dootsie' Walker left a message on August 13, 2013:
We grew up together in the same neighborhood as kids. We'd spend our summers playing baseball in the field near his house ALL day long with Buddy, Kenny, Bill and our neighborhood friends. We kept the grass mowed when it got tall so we could play. We also played street hockey every Sunday @ Oakington Elementary school. Tossing the goal nets on the old Galaxy 500 and making our way to the games. The Wilson's also had the first port-a-court basketball backboard I had ever seen. Since Johnny and I were of short stature we would lower the basket just so we could emulate Dr. J and jam. WOW, what great memories. I've worked with Johnny 33+ years and am saddened by his passing. Johnny, you will be missed my friend. My prayers continue to be with your family in this time of loss. Many Blessings, Mike 'Dootsie' Walker

Mrs. Wilson, Buddy and Tammy, I was truly saddened when Kenny contacted me with the news of Johnny's surgery and then passing. I have very fond memories of the Wilson clan. We all grew up together on the same street in Aberdeen playing every sport we could. I haven't kept in contact with most of my high school classmates since graduation but did see Johnny at one of our reunions, probably the one in 1995, and enjoyed seeing him again. I know your hearts are heavy at this time but know that you will see him again. I'll keep you in my thoughts as you mourn Johnny's passing.

To the Wilson family, Thanks so much for sharing Johnny with me. He left behind a treasure filled with memories that we can all cherish forever. I remember one Oriole game we attended. I told the entire section that Johnny beat out Cal Ripken for a position at Aberdeen High School and that he was on the fast track to make it big. Before you knew it, Johnny was surrounded by fans asking for autographs. The smile on Johnny's face was priceless. While his physical presence may have been taken from us, trust me, he will never be forgotten. His candle burned out long before, his memory ever will. I am going to miss you good buddy.
