Joel Thomas Milburn, 55, passed away quietly at Christiana Hospital on July 25, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Wilmington, DE on June 25, 1968, he was the son of Evan and Gail Miller Milburn, Elkton, MD.
Joel attended Elkton High School and had worked for Milburn Orchards in Elkton, MD. He loved all animals, and all animals loved him.
Joel is survived by his father Evan B. Milburn, daughter Kristina Winnington (Jeffrey Winnington) and son Joel T. Milburn Jr (JT), granddaughter Amya Smith; siblings, Diana Milburn (Patrick Campbell), Lynn Milburn, Bowen Milburn (Tammy), and predeceased by mother Gail Miller Milburn and brother Nathan Milburn.
Services will be held at 256 Brewster Bridge Rd, Elkton August 10,2023 from 6-10 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Cecil County Animal Services in care R.T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711.
