

























Jimmy Alvin Scott, Sr., age 69 of North East, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 19, 1944 in Baltimore, MD to the late Walter and Delphia (Church) Scott.
Upon his graduation from Dundalk High School in 1963, Jimmy went to work full time at Gino’s Restaurants where he was hired by Gino Marchetti, himself, and he worked his way up to an Area Manager supervising as many as 14 stores. In his retirement, he started a business, PowerClean with his son. Jimmy loved the water and boating, and he spent much of his spare time fishing and crabbing.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; son Jimmy A. Scott, Jr., and his wife Anne; and daughter Deborah Scott and fiancé Rick Mills, all of North East, MD; grandchildren Daniel James Mitchell and wife Leah, Emily R. Mitchell and fiancé Ryan Savidge, Sarah A. Mitchell, Kassy A. Scott, and Tyler L. Scott; brothers William Scott, Roger Mann, and Alan Church.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Donald Scott.
A service will be held at 3PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PA, 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior beginning at 2PM. Burial will be private. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com.
