Jerry D. Hurley, age 62, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 23, 2013 in Middletown, DE. He was born June 11, 1951 in West Jefferson, NC to the late Jess and Mary (Church) Hurley.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Kathy; daughters Kristen Cole of Rising Sun, MD, Jaime Garvin and husband Luke of Rising Sun, MD, and Erin Ferdinando of Chesapeake City, MD; 5 grandchildren Katie, Tyler, Zachary, Jillian and Vincent; sisters Josephine Cochran of Churchville, MD, and Roseanne Roberts and Bonnie Brady, both of Lancaster, PA.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by two brothers, James Hurley and Roy Blevins.
A Service will be held 11AM on Monday, September 30, 2013 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
