Jerry Anthony Walls, Sr., of Elkton, MD, age 78 passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born in Howesville, WV on February 6, 1943 to the late Herbert Walls and Ruby (Rhodes) Walls.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Baltimore, MD and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 194 in Rising Sun, MD. A machinist by trade for over 25 years Jerry worked at Crown, Cork & Seal in Baltimore, MD, then moved on to work for Seimans in Elkton, MD until his retirement in 2012. Jerry enjoyed family camping trips and vacations and getting family together at his sons house for BBQ’S as well as attending bluegrass concerts, cruising flea markets and auctions and spending time with his grandsons.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Lynn Walls; two children: Jerry Walls, Jr. and his wife, Denise and Debbie Neely and her children Connor and Brendan; step-child, Lisa Snyder and her husband Tom, with their children, Taylor, Emilly, Allison and Madeline; brother, Larry Walls; sister, Linda Snier and her husband Tom; and lifetime friend, Sarah Smith. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911, where family friends may begin visiting at 10:00 am. Burial will be held privately.
