Jerome “Jerry” Ragland West, age 73, of Wilmington, DE passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019. Jerry was born in Wilmington, DE on September 7, 1946 to the late Duncan West and Rose (Ragland) West.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army and later worked at Pathmark for 20 plus years. He enjoyed taking time for himself and going on walks. His favorite thing he loved doing was socializing with the neighbors and friends.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Christopher and James West; daughter, Rebecca Mintz and her husband Daniel; partner, Jennifer Pier; and grandchildren: Peyton West, Camden Perry Mintz, Madison Elizabeth Mintz. Along with his parents, Jerome is preceded in death by his former wife, Elizabeth Ann West.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720.
