Went to Key West twice with Jeff and Lynn.
Would get dressed up and go out and call it Prom Night. One time we took a boat ride with a local teenager to Monkey Island. We threw potato chips over the fence and they climbed the fence and we chasing us down the dock to the boat. We escaped in the nick of time. Was actually pretty scary, but we had a good laugh. Delaware football homecomings when my boys were young. Always throwing the football around. When practicing field goals he got the nickname " Hodgi-Podgi-Shiek" and every time we spoke I would answer that name on the phone. Jeff was always nice to kids and loved them. We went camping and forgot the tent poles. They girls were so mad, but we used string to tie the tents to trees and it worked fantastic. We were best friends for a few years. Jeff was a kid at heart for sure like me. Seemed we were always aggrivating the girls with our immaturity. Jeff loved his dad who was a good man for sure. Last contact was a couple years ago I found a local church and got Jeff to go with me. There he found some friends and support. Maybe 10 years ago he came to my MD house with a girlfriend who snored loud.
I love Jeff. I could be myself around him and he liked me. We had common interests like football, pretty girls, cannabis, vacations, and laughing alot. Farewell my friend. We are brothers from different mothers, but children of the same God. Until our spirits merge into the great unknown I will be thinking of you fondly. Rest in Peace. Your friend Mark Trainer

I have so many memories from working with Jeff. We had fun times outside of work too. He had a laugh that was contagious and an ornery side too.
My condolences to his family.
