Jeffery Howard Rase, age 54, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born on August 28, 1960, in Woodbury, NJ to Martha Roman and the late Edward Wayne Rase.
He was trained as an electrician and worked for several contractors, including Globe Electric, where he worked for 20 years, before settling in as an “Electrical Specialist” at Lowes of North East, MD, and a job which he enjoyed immensely.
He enjoyed camping and canoeing with his family and friends in his younger years. He also enjoyed music, especially country and blue grass and loved his dogs. Generous and kind, Jeff was always there with a helping hand.
He is survived by his mother, Martha, of Elkton, MD; his brother, Brian Rase, of Elkton, MD; his nephews Brian Gregory, and William Edward; and a niece, Meagan Rene’; a great niece, Kendra Marie; and numerous cousins, friends and fellow Lowes employees, who will miss him dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward Wayne Rase in 1983.
A service will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 10, 2015 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may visit one hour prior beginning at 10AM. Burial will be private. To send condolences visit www.rtfoard.com.

I only knew jeff for two years but those to years I will remember for the rest of my life. Jeff was always caring and kind hearted of corse he always had somthing smart to say and he would always make me laugh he would call me sweet pee yes like the kid off popeye.we spent many hours chewing the fat he would tell me all about his life and the things he has done I just wish I could talk to him one more time
