Jason Michael Minner, age 44, of Elkton, MD, passed away on February 5, 2021. He was born in Wilmington, DE on January 21, 1977 to Donna Marie (Yates) Dant and the late Richard K. Minner.

Jason was a kind and generous man who was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a hard worker, multi-talented tradesman, good at everything he did especially carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, siding, paving, concrete, drywall and operating heavy equipment. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his deep hearty laugh.

His hobbies included tinkering with cars & motorcycles, going to the racetrack, a major movie buff with a vast collection of movies to which he could recite their entire script, listening to music of all genres and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved family vacations to Florida especially to the Keys. Jason will be dearly missed by everyone who loved him!

Jason is survived by his mother, Donna Dant and her husband, Edward; half-brothers: Rick Minner, Troy Minner and Kyle Dant; step-sister, Beverly Dant; nephew Adam Minner; grandmother Lila Minner and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Jason was a 21 year leukemia survivor, memorial contributions in his name may be made payable to the “Leukemia Society” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
