Janice Lee Persons of Rising Sun, MD passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the age of 67. She was born December 3, 1949 in Buffalo, NY to Leroy Beilein and Helen (Phillips) Beilein.
Janice graduated from Elmira College, going on to work as a Laboratory Technologist at Union Hospital and later worked for Siemens. She was a proud member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Janice enjoyed shopping and loved cooking for family and friends.
Janice is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roger Persons of Rising Sun, MD, son, Chris Persons and his wife, Kelly of Bear, DE, daughter, Lauri Dixon and her husband, Eric of Rising Sun, MD, four grandchildren, and her brother, Donald Beilein of Florida.
A funeral service in Janice’s honor will be held at 11AM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may begin visiting at 10AM. Burial will follow at Rosebank Cemetery.
