Janet was one of the most formative people in my life. She was tough in a way that made you better. I adopted some of that style in my few coaching opportunities and when you get in that mode and create discomfort, that's when growth happens. I've never forgotten how she extracted and channeled my athleticism. She was a fiery competitor and honer of talent. I greatly admired her.

Janet was a spitfire, even in her last year when her health issues were getting harder. I grew up in a family of women who have back bone, strong opinions and quick sense of humor. So whenever we would see Janet and Terry which wasn't often, she just fit right in with our raucous crowd. Our family just adored Janet and her unapologetic love of sports and competition. I've always felt grateful to have such awesome women in my life and the men who love them. Godspeed, Janet and may you run, throw, shoot and pass whatever ball or game you want to play. I hope you and Paula play together. I see her running where ever she is and I see Janet doing the same. Much love, Katy

I first met Janet in 1989 at a golf tournament, and soon after I became friends with her and the other characters at Chantilly. We competed for years in tournaments, card games, board games, etc. We served on the Board of the DWGA. Janet was the creator of DWGA Team Matches, as well as the very popular Bash To The Beach. One of a kind, that Janet Wolf. I told her that many times, but I cannot repeat her reply! An unforgettable character! My sincere sympathy to her family and friends. Debbie Ryan
